The road is closed to through traffic.
Storms and floods have caused extensive road damage and embankment slips.
The road is closed to visitors between Goodmans Ford and Langs Road, Wombeyan Caves.
Access for residents living East of Wombeyan Caves is available although residents should drive with caution.
Access for visitors to Wollondilly River Station campsite is available although visitors should drive with caution
Repairs commenced February 2026
Work will be ongoing and the road will remain closed to visitor traffic until mid to late 2026.
