Scheduled Roadwork — Thomas Mitchell Drive, Muswellbrook

Work Activity: Roadworks to rehabilitate the road pavement.

The location will be under various traffic control to assist with peak hours.

During this time Thomas Mitchell Dr will be operating under single lane contraflow with traffic lights for the duration of the works. We will maintain 4.5m of pavement to accommodate OSOM loads which need to use this section of Thomas Mitchell Dr during the project. There will be concrete barriers and T-top bollards the loads will need to clear if they are wider than 4.5m. As a rule, the site will be manned between 5am and 7pm Mon – Fri. Outside these hours the site will be kept clear of plant and obstructions.

To ensure the safe passage of OSOM vehicles, all loads wider than 4m will be directed to stop at designated pullover bays located at:

• Intersection of Thomas Mitchell Dr/Denman Rd for southbound
• Opposite 17/19 Thomas Mitchell Dr for northbound
