Scheduled Roadwork — Maitland Rd, Hexham

Motorists turning right from the Pacific Highway (Hexham Bridge) onto the New England Highway will be reduced to two lanes. Vehicles travelling westbound on the New England Highway at Hexham will also be reduced to two lanes.

Heavy vehicles will need to use the slow lane when turning right onto the New England Highway.

During night works, OSOM needing to travel on the Pacific Highway via Maitland Road with a ground contact wider than 3.4m or with overall width wider than 4.5m intending to travel through the site are advised to contact the project team at least one day ahead of movement on 1800 515 141. They should expect delays of up to 30 minutes. Significant delays will occur if failure to contact. OSOM operators are advised the project operates on UHF channel 45.
