Throughout the rehabilitation project, there will be varied load restrictions on the San Remo Bridge. This will be dependent on where crews are working on the bridge.

From 3 August until late 2026, all heavy vehicles exceeding 62.5 tonnes will be temporarily restricted from using the bridge.

Mass limits below the 62.5-tonne restriction will also apply for certain heavy vehicle types during this period.

We’ll keep the freight and heavy haulage industry informed of changes in restrictions as the project progresses.
