The Old North Coast Road and Beerburrum Road intersection in Beerburrum is planned to be temporarily closed from 23 October 2026 until September 2027, weather and construction conditions permitting.

Vehicle access will be available via northern Old North Coast Road and Steve Irwin Way. Traffic control will be in place to safely manage vehicle movements.

This temporary closure is required to ensure the safety of motorists during upcoming critical works on the Beerburrum Road and Steve Irwin Way intersection upgrade.

Motorists are advised to follow traffic control and directional signage and plan their journeys ahead of time. Where possible, priority access through the work zone will be given to emergency vehicles.
